92 points -- Fully mature, with good dark ruby color and minimal browning, this chunky, fleshy, warm, and generous wine has plenty of ripe Merlot fruit, a viscous, weighty texture, and fast-fading tannin. A lovely Petrus, it is best drunk over the next decade. I recently drank a bottle... to celebrate my 50th birthday, and it remains a beautiful, savory, complex, intense wine with a seamless texture.
