92 points -- Noticeable oak spice frames reluctant earthy, complex and layered black fruit aromas that lead to sexy, round, fresh and surprisingly forward and supple flavors... excellent volume and mid-palate density and intensity... beautifully balanced and quite powerful on the finish, all wrapped in firm but fine tannins... very likely need at least a decade to be at its best. A terrific effort.
