| Burghound | Happily, the ripe, spicy and elegant fruit is very dense, particularly in the context of the '96 vintage, and the wood does not dominate though there is a slight sweetening effect on the palate as it rounds off the otherwise nicely detailed flavors... this is a delicious wine that is impressive in its style but one that is also carrying ample wood that stops just shy of unbalancing the finish. | 91 | 2012+ |
